As you are aware ISP Canada started upgrading their email system at the end of last year. We are ready to complete the process with our third step and be completely on the new system starting Thursday evening.  This new system will be extremely stable with multiple redundancies. We are very proud to offer this premium email system to our customers and have been looking forward to this for some time.

Please follow the steps in the documents provided below depending on your email software.  If you use webmail exclusively  you do NOT have to read these documents.  If you have another email program, it may still be beneficial to read the documents as this will more than likely guide you in the right direction with your program. 

Here are the settings that need to be changed explained in the documents:

Account name or login name: needs to be your FULL email address

Incoming server address: mail.yourdomain.tld          ( Glossary – tld is your top level domain ex. .ca .com .net are all top level domains )
Outgoing server address: mail.yourdomain.tld

Example:

if your email is Andrew@isp.ca you would put in mail.isp.ca
If your email is Andrew@yourdomain.com you would put in mail.yourdomain.com

Outgoing mail server requires authentication – use same settings as incoming mail server.
